Cardinal Components Inc continues to serve our customers as an expert in the world of precision machining, with a rich history spanning two generations. Founded in 1983 by Mark Kurey, the company was established with a commitment to delivering exceptional products and unparalleled customer service. Recognizing the increasing demand for specialty fasteners and custom metal components in the Milwaukee and surrounding areas of Wisconsin, Mark Kurey’s vision led to the creation of Cardinal Components.
The synergy between Cardinal Components and Craden Manufacturing Company, owned by Mark’s father-in-law, Sol Craden, proved to be a natural fit. This strategic partnership allowed Cardinal Components to flourish as a distributor of specialty fasteners and custom metal components. Over the years, the company expanded its reach, transitioning from local partnerships to serving national and international brands across the globe.
In 2017, after decades of dedicated leadership, Mark Kurey retired as President/CEO of Cardinal Components, Inc. His years of leadership can be described as a loyal commitment to great customer service, strategic company vision, passion for the industry, and support towards employee development. Mark helped Cardinal grow from modest beginnings into sustained success. With Mark’s retirement in place, the reins were passed on to his son, Ben Kurey. Ben had completed a comprehensive transition program and was ready to further Cardinal’s legacy as a second-generation business. With a blend of tradition and a fresh perspective, Ben has taken the company into new levels, bringing with him his years of experience, education, and a focus on technology and process improvement in order to build upon his father’s legacy. 
Both Ben & Mark are cut from the same cloth, they share a passion for creating high quality, on-time product that injects value into the supply chain with the goal of winning the repeat loyalty of highly satisfied customers.
In 2019, Cardinal Components marked a significant milestone by relocating to a larger facility in Menomonee Falls. This move not only showcased the company’s commitment to growth but also provided increased warehousing space, enabling Cardinal Components to enhance its capabilities and offerings to customers.
